2018 DRAG RACING CLASS RULES AND REGULATIONS
NEW UPDATES FOR RACEWARS
Racing in the HEADS UP CLASS and INDEX CLASS ONLY is now $135 with a $3000 pay out with a full field of 32 cars.
If there is less than 32 cars, please see below for the payout break down. This does not include Bracket classes.
SKUNK2 All SFWD MOTOR SHOOT OUT is added to the HEADS UP Program for the rest of the season
Modified Pro 32
All Formats FWD RWD AWD Pro cars. Halfback /full chassis race cars or uni body. This class will be a 32-car field qualifying class with a bump spot. Ladder style eliminations so it will be import for these racers to stay in constant contact with the race director and the tower for pairing. This is an open class for pro Domestics and imports, Car must be NHRA certified for the speed and drivers must have a current NHRA license. No weight restriction, no power adder restriction. No electronics.
All Motor Eliminator (heads up, 500 tree)
NO Power Adders, All formats FWD, RWD and AWD. No chassis restriction, V8 car will have a weight limit. No limit on 6 or 4 cylinders, no tire restriction. Car must be NHRA certified for the speed. Driver must have required NHRA License. No electronics
Southbay Fuel Injectors Modern Muscle
Post 2008 and up Domestics and Imports. All formats FWD, RWD and AWD. No chassis restriction on turbo size or weight. Car must run on DOT approved drag radials, NO SLICKS Car must be NHRA certified for the speed. Driver must have required NHRA License. No electronics
Super Duty truck (Bracket format)
All super duty full body trucks, no limits, and no restrictions
INDEX-32 car field qualifier
9.50 Mean Street.
All formats FWD, RWD and AWD. No chassis or tire restriction, no restriction on turbo size or weight, halfback or full uni-body is allowed. Car must be NHRA certified for the speed. Driver must have required NHRA License. No electronics
10.50 Super Street.
All formats FWD, RWD and AWD. No chassis restriction on turbo size or weight. Full body only, No tubs or halfback. Car must run on DOT approved drag radials, NO SLICKS Car must be NHRA certified for the speed. Driver must have required NHRA License. Interior is optional, No electronics
11.50 Real Street
All formats FWD, RWD and AWD. No chassis restriction on turbo size or weight. Full body and full interior. Car must run on DOT approved drag radials, NO SLICKS Car must be NHRA certified for the speed. Driver must have required NHRA License. No electronics
All cars must meet NHRA safety requirements. All bracket classes are open to all format cars, no weight restriction no tire restriction. This class is bases on Dial In and the computer calculates winner.

RACE RULES FOR ALL HEADS UP INDEX CLASSES
1) ALL HEADS UP IS ON A .500 PRO TREE ,
2) NO DELAY BOXES IN ANY CLASS
3) ALL RACE FUEL OR METHANOL IS ALLOWED
4) ANY COMBINATION OF POWER ADDERS IS ALLOWED,
5) FWD AND AWD ALLOWED IN ALL CLASSES EXCEPT OUTLAW
6) NO ELECTRONIC SHIFT EXCEPT IN OUTLAW
7) 2 STEPS AND LAUNCH CONTROL, LINE LOCKS AND TRANBRAKES ALLOWED IN ALL CLASSES
8) NO DEEP STAGING ALLOWED EXCEPT IN OUTLAW,
9) CAR AND DRIVER CAN BE ANY WIEGHT
10) ANY TIRE PERMITTED IN ANY CLASS
11) NO SPACE SAVERS ALLOWED. CAR AND DRIVER MUST BE NHRA LEGAL
12) YOU WILL BE TIMED OUT AND DQ IF YOU TAKE MORE THAN 7 SECONDS TO STAGE AFTER YOUR COMPITITOR LIGHTS BOTH BULBS. NO COURTESY STAGING. NO DOUBLE BULBING,
13) NO CAGE NEEDED FOR CARS THAT ARE 2008 AND UP IN THE 10.00 CLASS AND HAVE ALL FACTORY SAFTEY EQUIPMENT (AIR BAGS)
14) RACERS MUST QUALIFY WITHIN THEIR BRACKET OR, IF A COMPETITOR IS MORE THAN .5 OF A SECOND QUICKER OR SLOWER THAN .5 SECONDS HE WILL PUT DOWN OR UP A CLASS ,
15) IF A COMPITITOR IS WITHIN .5 SECOND OF THE CLASS HE WILL BE PUT IN THE LAST QUALIFFING SPOT IN ORDER OF THE CLASS
NO SANDBAGGING PERMITTED
HOW NOT TO SANDBAG , LIMIT YOUR RPM , LIMIT YOUR BOOST , LIMIT YOUR NITROUS SHOT, YOU WILL HAVE 3 QUALFYING RUNS TO ACHIEVE AS CLOSE AS TO YOUR INDEX WITH OUT GOING UNDER , WE WANT TO SEE GOOD HEADS UP RACING WITH A FIGHT TO THE FINISH , NOT CARS OFF THE GAS OR ON THE BRAKES TOWARDS THE FINISH LINE AS THIS MAKES IT UNFAIR TO OTHER COMPITITORS WHO ARE HONEST RACERS , SO IF WE SEE YOUR MPH DOWN OR YOUR ON THE BRAKES YOU WILL RECEIVE ONE WARNING AND NEXT TIME IT OCCURS YOU WILL BE DQ
WDRC RUNS HOT LAP QUALIFYING AND TEST AND TUNE. WE WILL NOT CALL DRIVERS TO THE LANE FOR THIS SESSION. OUR QUALIFYING SESSIONS ARE USUALLY 2 HOURS. ANYONE THAT IS ELIMINATED CAN STILL RUN TIME SHOTS AT THE END OF THE ELIMINATION OR RIGHT BEFORE THE FINALS IF TIME ALLOWS OR JOIN THE TEST AND TUNE LANE WHICH WILL RUN AT THE END OF THE ELINMINATION INDEX IF TIME ALLOWS.

All Manufacturer classes are awarded a 1st-3rd on each class. All sub categories or specialty classes will be automatically awarded a 1st. place and if 10+ of a specific model or class are registered then that class will get awarded 1st - 3rd.
